Besides being my birthstone, my pseudo Amethyst has an interesting story behind it, which I found on Wikipedia:
The Greek word "amethystos" (αμέθυστος) basically can be translated as "not drunken." Amethyst was considered to be a strong antidote against drunkenness, which is why wine goblets were often carved from it. Supposedly, when a drunken Dionysus was pursuing a maiden called Amethystos, who refused his affections, she prayed to the gods to remain chaste. The goddess Artemis granted the prayer, transforming her into a white stone; humbled by Amethystos' desire to remain chaste, Dionysus poured wine over the stone she had become as an offering, dyeing the crystals purple.

I am not an expert on dreams bas that means something is really really reeeeeally buggin you / not in the bas sense of it.. maybe you are thinking of something too much

I have to admit, that was a pretty interesting story. There always is an interesting story about things that come across as relatively simple in life. More often than not at least.

Either you really really REALLY want something or are desperately trying to run away from something that keeps haunting you. Say it out loud. To whom? Does not matter. Saying it to yourself helps just as well, sometimes.

I've said it out loud to my mom, since it concerns her mom. It's not a scary dream or anything. If my grandmother were alive, it could be very realistic:)
Amethyst is my birth stone too! Amethyst is the birth stone of the greatest of people, i believe ;P
dont worry about ur dream, it might be a reflection of a state ur in right now, emotionally mathalan or it might be something ur thinking too much about...
